This is looking west from Highway 71, right in front of the "Y" City Mountain Inn. As the climbing structures reside on the Inn's property you will want to stop and ask the proprietor for permission.  There is a primitive hiking trail that will present a challenging little 15 minute hike.  There is access to the top from backside of rock for setting up a top rope.

The sun was close to being down and it was getting dark, but I told my buddy to take a picture anyway.  It wont turn out he said.  Just take the picture, I cannot hold on forever.

Well I am very pleased with the outcome and used this photo to make the climber silhouette on the web site.

This is the East Face and is a very challenging climb.  None of us novice climbers ever made it to the top as it presents an overhanging face.

You are viewing the Eastern most part of the southern face.  The bright colors are from the lichens that inhabit the rock.  Many routes to choose from, providing climbs to challenge all skill levels of climber.

This young lad had made it to the top of the Southern face and is ready to rappel down to try another route.

There is no telling how old these resilient little trees are.  They are stunted from being exposed to the harsh elements.  This climber is nearing the top. It is a spectacular view.

Although the total vertical is around 75 feet, you feel a lot higher as you are a couple hundred feet up the side of the mountain when you start your ascent up the rock.

This view is to the Southeast and you can see Highway 71 and Mill Creek, and the Ouachita Mountains stretching for miles.
