You are looking at "Window Rock" which can be found on the Little Missouri Trail just a 15 minute hike from the Albert Pike Recreation Area Trailhead.

Standing in Window Rock, you can see the Little Missouri River below, which runs right through the campground, and has a wonderful swim area in which to cool off after a day of hiking and climbing.

|
There are many structures on which to climb. Most will provide 15 to 40 feet ascents.
The exposed rock is located at the top of a ridge about 300 feet above the campground, providing spectacular views, and a great sensation of height, even when climbing one of the smaller rocks.

|
It was this monster that we chose to climb, providing an 80 foot ascent.
|
|
|
There is a lot of rock here, and would probably take up a couple of weekends to cover it all.
